Saint Mary Cemetery traces its origins to Saint Mary Parish, established in 1862 as the mother church of the Westfield area. Spanning approximately 90 acres, the cemetery holds around 13,000 burials and is recognized by its distinctive metal entrance arch. Burial options include flush memorial and upright monument lots in a variety of configurations. Saint Mary Cemetery became part of Springfield Diocesan Cemeteries, Inc. in 2003 and continues to provide a dignified resting place for Catholic families throughout Westfield and Hampden County.
