Precious Blood Cemetery is a historic 4.5-acre burial ground in South Hadley, established in 1873 by the original Precious Blood Parish. When that parish was merged into Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish in 1987, the cemetery's care continued uninterrupted — and in 2008, it was entrusted to Springfield Diocesan Cemeteries, Inc. The cemetery holds approximately 3,000 burials and remains a meaningful place of rest for families connected to its long parish history. Records are maintained at the Notre Dame Cemetery office on Lyman Street.
